Paris Saint-Germain by 2Right off the bat, we're staring down the barrels of a clash between Paris Saint-Germain and Olympique Lyonnais. Let's crash straight into the goalkeeping figures here. First up, the boys in PSG's net have surely been doing their part. Matvey Safonov with a solid 8.10 rating and 4 saves and Gianluigi Donnarumma, while a bit behind with a 7.00 rating, he has made more saves clocking 9. Meanwhile, Lucas Perri of Olympique Lyonnais is a lonely sentinel with a decent 7.45 rating and impressive 17 saves.
Glancing through the ranks, Paris Saint-Germain isn’t short of impressive players. They have Ousmane Dembélé, who with 6 goals, isn't just about bright cleats and flashy footwork. Then, Désiré Doué, who's been quite the passer, and Achraf Hakimi, just consistently putting up decent numbers. All in all, the Parisian warriors look ready for battle.
Quietly but consistently from Lyon, we see the likes of Rayan Cherki, Corentin Tolisso and Ernest Nuamah. Tolisso with 3 goals, could probably strike it in from the parking lot. However, Nuamah has been quite trigger happy with 7 shots on goal but just 2 goals to account.
If history is a tutor in our prediction game, Paris Saint-Germain has been the textbook to Olympique Lyonnais on prior occasions and it isn't looking like they are about to close it anytime soon. Take this in stride, Olympique Lyonnais’ season record stands at a respectable 10 wins, 6 draws, and 6 losses but when matched up against Paris Saint-Germain's pristine 17 wins, 5 draws and no losses yet, it reads like a romance thriller, with PSG playing the untouchable protagonist.
Glancing, albeit resentfully, at the recent results, it's clear that Paris Saint-Germain is striding in on a high, having swallowed up the likes of Toulouse and AS Monaco. Olympique Lyonnais, on the other hand, stuttered a bit against Olympique de Marseille and Nantes recently.
All this in mind, it's quite hard to ignore the titan that is Paris Saint-Germain, especially when they've been busy padding their stats like a tax cheat.
