Royal Challengers Bengaluru to winIn the eternal "bat vs ball" battle that is cricket, it is, at times, the condition of the wicket that emerges as the non-living third player in the equation. So now we zip over to the BRSABV Ekana Cricket Stadium in sunny Lucknow, where we have an interesting tete-a-tete between the Lucknow Super Giants and the Royal Challengers Bengaluru.
While the bounce of the pitch here might be a bit like my grandpa on a trampoline, flakey yet at times shockingly sprightly, it does offer an intriguing aspect to this clash. More grass on the wicket suggests seamers may have a field day today. But this isn't a gardening show folks, let's move onto the tip-top players donning the jerseys of these two teams.
The Bengaluru boys, standing proud at number two in the standings, have been gracing victories more often than not, as seen in their recent match results. They have been performing like that straight-A student we all low-key envied. They've won four of their last five outings, stubbing their toe just once.

Bent on royal victory, their current form might just hold the trump card in this duel. So, if you ask me (and, clearly, someone must have), I see the Bengaluru boys popping the celebratory bubbly.
