Ajax by 2Oh, what a cracking match-up we have here, Ajax versus NEC Nijmegen.
Ajax definitely has the wind blowing in their sails, don't they? They're like the popular kid who gets straight A's and has the lead role in the school play. Their recent record of 23 wins, 5 draws, and a measly 3 losses clearly shows why they're favored. They're practically on a victory lap.
NEC Nijmegen on the other hand, has a record equivalent to that of an indecisive person at a buffet. 9 wins, 7 draws and 15 losses. Their performance has been as consistent as my mobile data connection in a basement.
Let's meet our goalkeepers. Ajax's Matheus has been like a cat in a tree, a mediocre 5 saves, while Robin Roefs of NEC Nijmegen has been making impressive stops with 10 saves. He would give roadblocks a run for their money.
