Gloucester Rugby by 4Alright folks, I mean.... Let's dive into the rough and tumble world of English Premiership Rugby, featuring Gloucester Rugby and Northampton Saints. A pair of teams who've both tasted the salt of victory and the terrible bitterness of defeat lately. Is history a guide? Sometimes. And looking back, Northampton has proven they can wallop Gloucester with a crushing score of 90 to 0 back in May 2024, while on other occasions it's been much closer like that nail-biter in December 2023.
Now if you're a believer in momentum, the Saints have got something going for them. Sure, they got a bit dusted by Exeter Chiefs, but they've picked themselves up, dusted off, and held their own against Saracens, Bristol Bears and Newcastle Falcons. Gloucester, on the other hand, may just be a little bruised after their recent run-in with Harlequin FC, though they did scrape through against Newcastle Falcons. And what's life without a little adversity anyway?
It should be noted this is round 8 of the regular season. I don't make much of it, but some people do. It's all chalk to me. It's a rugby game, after all, not a marathon run.

So the way I see it, this match is Gloucester Rugby's to lose. Now take your calculators, carry the one and you should be looking at a relatively narrow victory. I'd say Gloucester pulls the rabbit out of the hat with a four-point lead when the dust settles.
