Saskatchewan Roughriders by 3
Alright, ladies and gents, we've got a doozy here with the Ottawa Redblacks charging into enemy territory to go up against the Saskatchewan Roughriders. Now, don't get me wrong; I've nothing against Ottawa. That being said, their late-season performance last time around was about as impressive as my golf swing. Saskatchewan likes their home turf and they might just have the Redblacks seeing green.
Looking back at the past skirmishes between these two, it's been a bit of a coin toss. However, I'd wager my last doughnut that Saskatchewan might edge out ahead, having previously muscled a 29-16 win on their home turf.
Last season, Ottawa's performance was rockier than the Canadian Shield, culminating with a loss to the Toronto Argonauts. Their offense probably still has flashbacks. On the other hand, the Roughriders have been pretty much the Rocky Balboa of the league, bouncing back from their loss against the Winnipeg Blue Bombers with a thundering win against the BC Lions.
In the end, this clash is set to be the equivalent of two bears fighting over the last salmon in the river. However, I'm placing my bet on Saskatchewan to turnaround their home advantage and edge out the win by a small margin. Might be a loser's game, but my middle name is Risk. Well, actually it's Albert, but that's beside the point.
