Corinthians by 1Alright, alright, let's get into it! In one corner, we have São Paulo. A decent force to reckon with, particularly when you consider the skills brought to the table by players like Robert Arboleda and Cédric Soares. However, when we look at recent matches, these São Paulo slicksters have overseen a slew of losses. The rays of hope though are that historically, they have had a decent run against Corinthians.
On the other hand, the Corinthians haven't been up to snuff either. You've got to take your cap off for Rodrigo Garro and Cacá though; they've been working the field like they've got a personal vendetta against the opposing team's net. But it seems like their striking prowess hasn't rubbed off on their goalie, Hugo Souza because with only 1 save to his name, he's certainly no Iron Curtain.
The two teams have had their share of ties in the past, and given their current form, it's anyone's game. But I've been doing this for a long time, and I fancy Corinthians coming out on top in this match. They've been dodgy, no denying it, but I think they'll scrap out a win.
