My Prediction
Collingwood Magpies by 24You know, I think fish could predict this one. The Magpies are perched pretty high at the top of the standings, practically mocking the Demons who seem to be burrowing deeper into the abyss with each match. The Magpies muscled their way through their last few games like a kangaroo in a china shop, while the Demons have been inconsistent, much like our weather forecast. And let's remember history shall we? In previous bouts, the Magpies have repeatedly clipped the Demons' wings.
That said, upsets happen when you least expect them, usually after I’ve had my morning coffee. And the Demons did show a spark of life with wins over Sydney and West Coast recently. Nonetheless, if you asked a kangaroo to jump backwards, it might have a better chance than the Demons taking this one, considering the Magpies' commands both on and off the field.
Pulling my magic number hat off the shelf - real convincing, I know - the Magpies, based on their consistent form and dominance in their previous games, should be able to take this one by about 24 points. Now remember, I'm about as sure about this prediction as an echidna in a balloon factory, but that’s the best I can do for you.
