Uchijima in straight setsOh, burrow into your sofa cushions and position that bowl of chips within arm's reach, ladies and gents, because we've got ourselves a doozy of a match here at the Hamburg Open. Let's dish out the deets on Moyuka Uchijima and Nastasja Schunk.
Now, Uchijima. This young Japanese dynamo has shown some teeth this tournament, entering the round with a 6th seed perch. Despite recent losses, she displays flashes of brilliance that occasionally makes you drop your popcorn. Her payout makes her the favorite, but buyers beware - each of her last five matches ended quicker than my morning coffee run.
On the other side of the court, we've got Schunk running amok. She's unseeded - and before you give me that raised eyebrow, let's remember that seeds ain't everything.
