Roma by 2Looking at Lecce and Roma, it's like watching a high school football team try to take on the pros. Quite comically mismatched, if you ask me.
Between the posts for Roma, we've got Mile Svilar, whose impressive 10 saves and 7.30 rating look to build a brick wall against Lecce. On the other hand, Wladimiro Falcone for Lecce's got a mediocre rating with less saves which only adds to the comedy.
Then, we have the players who swagger about on the field. Donning the colors for Roma, it's like they've gathered the Avengers. Matías Soulé's got the drive with 1 goal and imposing pass accuracy. Alexis Saelemaekers shows off with 2 goals, and Bryan Cristante adds to the tally. Leandro Paredes and Mats Hummels maintain the tempo with their startling accurate passes.
Lecce? Well, they have Nikola Krstović. 3 goals and 70.3 percent pass accuracy but he's like a lone ranger on a team of underdogs. The rest of Lecce's crew might want to consider a career in advertising with the amount of misses they've clocked.
Looking back at the history books, Roma rubbed salt in Lecce's wounds with 4 goals to 1 back in December 2024. And don't let me start about Lecce's recent results which are oddly similar to my attempts at dieting - futile.
All in all, Lecce may put in an effort, probably enough to make the Roma fans sit upright for a split second, but Roma, with their superior players and performances, look bound to display what they're made of.
