Boston Fleet by 2So, we're delving into this Ottawa Charge - Boston Fleet face-off. And it appears folks have stocked the wagon in favor of Boston Fleet, but we're not here to just chatter and gum up the works with all this background noise.
Looking at those past gridlocks, might seem like Boston's got quite the upper hand, it’s not the Charge's charge, as per se. Wouldn't burst into flames of anticipation just yet though, the Charge did manage to slip one past the Fleet's apparently "titanic" defense in their encounter last April. Let's not go to town on that lone victory though, across the board statistics do tilt in Boston's favor.
As for the regular season records though, it's more of a split hair situation. Ottawa's got 9 wins and some jazzy overtime attires, while Boston's sitting pretty with 8 wins but have managed to squeeze out 6 in overtime. Guess they love playing against the clock, eh?
Skipping over to current form, Ottawa had a recent flub against the New York Sirens, but did manage to sink the Minnesota Frost. A mixed bag really. Boston on the other side had a hiccup against the Toronto Sceptres, but did take the cake against Montreal Victoire and our underdogs Ottawa themselves.
Do keep an eye though on Ottawa, the Charge are paying out a hefty $3.20 for the win. Yes, I did just say that - don't judge me. The reality here is Boston's already established their dominance, especially when it comes to this matchup. Doesn't seem like we're tuning in for a miracle on ice here folks.
I’d say, pack your mittens and scarfs because I reckon Boston Fleet might just sail away with this one with a comfortable cushion.
