My Prediction
Utah Royals FC by 1Well butter my biscuits and call me Susie. We are looking here at a match-up sure to make your cat nap more exciting. On one hand, there's Utah Royals FC, favored like a good prime rib at a vegan restaurant. Their goalkeeper is Amanda Haught who, believe me, is anything but haughty with a modest 6.17 rating. Key players, we're talking Mina Tanaka and Ally Sentnor, bringing some solid game with their accurate passes.
Facing them are the Chicago Red Stars, a picture of underdogs, a literal representation of the phrase 'struggle bus'. Yet, they have Alyssa Naeher tending the goal with a decent enough 6.77 rating. Stars? Well, Jameese Joseph and Ludmila are taking center stage with their commendable ratings and, dare I say it, goal-scoring prowess.
Again, remember kids, the past can be a prologue. It's probably knocking on the door, screeching, "I TOLD YOU SO!" considering the Chicago Red Stars have thumped the Utah Royals FC in the last two outings.
All that being said, both teams are struggling harder to find a win than I am to find my lost youth. Their regular season records and recent results are about as impressive as a cocker spaniel trying to solve algebra. Utterly disappointing, to be euphemistic.
