My Prediction
NJ/NY Gotham FC by 2Before we dive into the nitty-gritty, keep in mind that Gotham is on a hot streak! The Gotham gals have been lighting it up lately, folks. But enough of that - let's look at the matchup.
Between the pipes for Portland, we've got Shelby Hogan. Her 7.13 rating and 10 saves show she's not afraid of a little pressure. On the other hand, Gotham's Ann-Katrin Berger's got solid hands herself, with a 6.97 rating and 3 saves. No butterfingers anywhere in sight here, folks.
Now let's shine the spotlight on a few of the ladies on the field, shall we? Over in Portland, Morgan Weaver, Samantha Coffey, and Hina Sugita are undoubtedly the stars of the team. Weaver, with her 7.43 rating and 2 goals, knows where the back of the net is, while Coffey and Sugita are the pass masters. Over on the Gotham side, we've got Yazmeen Ryan, Rose Lavelle, and Esther Gonzalez. Ryan and Lavelle have each scored a goal already and Gonzalez has netted three, so the Portland defense better watch out.
