Let's put pen to paper, err, voice to microphone on this one. Texans are mounting up their horses to cross over into Chiefs territory, and boy, do they have their work cut out for them. The Chiefs, with their whopping 15-2 record, have been out to prove this season that home is indeed where the wins are. The last time the Texans rambled into Kansas City they got sent home with a few less feathers in their caps, the scoreline reading 27-19 in Chiefs' favor.
But don't write off the Texans just yet, there's no hitch in their git-along. They outplayed the Chiefs in their last hurrah by a considerable chunk, lounging quite comfortably at the top of the AFC South. They certainly have a point to prove, and they're vying for a chance to turn those odds around yet again.
But, well, coming on strong on the back of their recent results, Texans are clapping their hands on victory's door. Their offence has definitely been working those hog legs - beating out Los Angeles and Tennessee respectively, they're not here to play musical chairs.
Kansas City's Chiefs, on the other hand, aren't exactly sweating bullets over their recent loss to Denver. With a whopping 38-0 loss, one might think Kansas City's barbeque got a little too smoked, but let's not forget that they've come out top in their meet ups with the Steelers, Texans, Browns, and Los Angeles respectively.
Predicting this one feels like trying to rope a greased pig at a country fair, but when the dust settles on this hoedown, I reckon the Kansas City Chiefs will keep their home fires burning. With stronger overall performance records, notwithstanding their recent hiccup against Denver, the Chiefs should be able to lock down a win, but not without a good old-fashioned scrap from the Texans.
