Unhooked Longhorns Outshine Aggies in Classic Texas Showdown, 17-7The Longhorns truly long-horned their way to the win in this National NCAA battle of Texas, trampling the Aggies 17-7. Sparkling stats of the game include Texas' 458 total yards to the Aggies' measly 248, not to mention our boys in brown winning the first downs and third down efficiency contest. Texas' quarterback, Quinn Ewers, showed superiority with 218 yards and a tidy little passing touchdown. With that in mind, the Aggies’ QB, Marcel Reed, should consider a career change to a runner, leading the game with 60 rushing yards.
The scoring summary quite simply reads like a Texas Longhorn's dream. Hook 'em Horns seized the first two quarters with touchdowns from Arch Manning and Jaydon Blue, while the Aggies left waiting until the third quarter for a redeeming touchdown from Will Lee III. Too little, too late folks.
The pre-game spread had the Longhorns favored by 5 points and shockingly, they won. Seems like those betting types got it right. Ah! The sweet smell of expected victory.
Peeping into the past, our hero Longhorns had an impressive run, rattling off victories against the likes of Kentucky Wildcats, the Arkansas Razorbacks, and the Florida Gators. Meanwhile, the Aggies tangled and lost to Auburn Tigers before their tough game against Texas. Well, the writing was on the wall.
I'll spare you the coach speak, because frankly, there's enough hot air around.

My Prediction
Texas Longhorns by 5In the great gridiron battle between the Texas Longhorns and the Texas A&M Aggies, the Longhorns have the impressive QB Quinn Ewers leading the pack. With a passing efficiency of 161.1, 12 touchdowns, and 988 passing yards, the lad's more accurate than a NASA computer and I'm pretty sure he's got rocket fuel in those boots of his.
The Aggies, though, don't have just one arm, but two at their disposal. Marcel Reed's 152.5 passing efficiency and 6 TDs show he's no slouch. He's backed up by Conner Weigman, who didn't make as much noise, but my hat's off to him for having the guts to step on the field.
On the offense for the Longhorns, Tre Wisner's been running like a Longhorn bull, with 408 total yards in the last month and Jaydon Blue's not far behind with 401 total yards. Matthew Golden's name isn't just for show, folks. 5 TDs and 180 total yards suggest he knows a thing or two about crossing the goal line.
The Aggies offense sees Amari Daniels taking charge with 362 total yards, and Noah Thomas showing some relationship with the end zone with 3 TDs.
Although defense may be less exciting than a divot on the green, it's where games are won. Longhorn linebacker Anthony Hill doesn’t just tackle; he sacks and forces fumbles too. Alfred Collins and Barryn Sorrell have been laying down the law as well.
Don't sleep on the Aggie defense when Tauran York's on the prowl with 17 tackles under his belt. Scooby William is also making his presence felt. However, the force doesn't seem that strong with this group, and that might come back to bite 'em.
