Dare we discuss the remedy to your impending boredom? Oh, it's a game alright. Minnesota Timberwolves heading to the house of the Memphis Grizzlies. Interesting matchup, quite captivating, I must say.
Now, the Wolves from Minnesota, they got some heat. Especially when you take into account the teen titan, Anthony Edwards, rocking a grand 26.1 points per game this season. A toe-to-toe matchup there with the Grizzlies' Jaren Jackson Jr. who's not far behind with 22.6 points per game. But, oh, don't forget Julius Randle and his 18.1 points per game show last month for the Wolves. Seems like everyone's giving extra effort these days, some holiday spirit perhaps?
Looking at the past? Memphis and Minnesota are almost sharing a seesaw. The most recent one was a Grizzlies' party, but it was pretty close, so hold your horses. Now if we're counting gridlocks and gridiron, regular season records put Grizzlies slightly ahead with 27 wins over Wolves' 22. Hmm? Recent results? Wolves have been having a bit of a “downer” week, but hey, everybody needs a little downtime. As for the Grizzlies, it's party time in the city, isn't it?
Please, don't cross me on this, but reminiscing their spots in the standings, Memphis is literally towering over the Wolves. Grizzlies #3 and Wolves at #8. Don't get too melancholic though, Timberwolves, it's just a game of hoops.
I must say, this matchup has more layers than a blooming onion. So, with all that's been said and those that remain unsaid, here goes nought.
Albert’s Prediction: Memphis Grizzlies by 4
