Houston Rockets by 4Alright, let's cut the pretense here. This is a dance between the Pistons and the Rockets. Houston, with a stellar record of 28-13 are flying high at number two in the Western Conference. Schmoozing patrons of the game with their brand of entertaining basketball. No doubt they’ll be feeling their oats coming into this matchup.
Turning our gaze to the Pistons, who are apparently confused by the meaning of consistency, with a win-loss record at 21-21. Bouncing themselves to ninth place in the Eastern Conference. Now, don't get me wrong folks, they've got some legs to brag about. You've got Cade Cunningham averaging quite a notable 25.0 points per game last month, and after that, it's practically a drop in the ocean.
Conversely, the Rockets are armed with two high-octane rockets in Alperen Sengun and Jalen Green, who've been throwing points on the board like it's going out of style. Sengun has been averaging an impressive 20.6 points per game last month with Green not too far behind.
Looking back at the previous duels between these two, it's been an exhibition of tug-of-war with the Rockets pulling the last rope. And while past performance is no guarantee of future results, as any financial advisor worth his salt will tell you, it does paint a picture.
Weighing the recent track records as well. The Rockets have been on a bit of a hot streak, making short work of their opponents, while the Pistons been carrying a bit of a mixed bag in their previous encounters.
