Cleveland Cavaliers by 16Ah, the tantalizing tale of Toronto Raptors facing off against the Cleveland Cavaliers. In one corner we have the Raptors with key players like RJ Barrett strolling around the court with an average of 23.9 points per game last month. There's also Scottie Barnes clearly not slacking his share, tossing in 19.6 points and 7.2 rebounds per game in the past month. A quick nod to Immanuel Quickley, he's been passing the ball around with a whooping 9.7 assists contributed per game in the last four weeks.
On the other hand, we've got the Cavaliers, led by the likes of Darius Garland dropping in 20.7 points per game. Donovan Mitchell isn't just standing around either, netting an impressive 21.3 points per game. Let's not forget Evan Mobley, he's grabbing rebounds like nobody's business with 7.1 a game over the last month.
Dragging our eyes away from the players a little, the Raptors have been having, let's say, a less than stellar season with an 8-28 win-loss record. Meanwhile, the Cavaliers are pretty much bulldozing their way through the season with a staggering 31-4 record. Looking at the past matchups, let's just say the Raptors might be developing a bit of a complex with the Cavaliers outscoring them in their last five encounters.
Let's see, factoring in the Raptors' current standing at #14 in the Eastern Conference and the Cavaliers sitting nice and pretty at #1 in the Eastern Conference, and considering their recent performance, am I going out on a limb to suggest the winning team? I believe not.
