San Antonio Spurs by 3Look who's coming: Denver Nuggets flying down to the Alamo City to take on the Spurs. Worth noting Denver's sweet spots are the 'Joker' Jokić - being a life giving force with his 31.0 points per game, and Jamal Murray adding a healthy 19.6 points to the tally. However, and oh yes, there is a however, they'll be missing the meaty contribution from Aaron Gordon due to injury. The Denver's latest winning streak should weigh heavy on the Spurs' minds.
Speaking of the Spurs, they've got some shining stars of their own. Watch out for Victor Wembanyama making his giant splashes with an average of 25.9 points per game and Jeremy Sochan puts in a good shift too with 13.9 points. Keep your eyes on the infirmary list though - Sochan might be shaky for the game.
Considering the bumpy recent teˆtes-a`-teˆtes between the two, the pendulum of fortune might be swinging sporadically. The Alan Parsons Project couldn't have said it better - "It's a Wild West...show". The Spurs seized their last game against the Nuggets, but overall, it's the Nuggets who've had the upper hand in recent times.
The Nuggets are slightly ahead in terms of regular season records, and sit a bit higher in the position in standings. The wise men of basketball once said, "Stats don't lie!". I am in agreement with this profound wisdom. So, applying a complex mathematical formula we just made-up, and factoring in the loss of Gordon for the Nuggets, I present to you this nugget (pun intended) of a prediction.
