Looking at this matchup, it's hard not to notice the towering presence of Joel Embiid for the Philadelphia 76ers, who's been averaging a meaty 26.0 points per game this past month, not to mention, racking up plenty of rebounds and assists. Tyrese Maxey has been another consistent performer for Philly, with a slightly north of 26 points per game in the last month. However, the past few games haven't really cemented their stance in the standings, with just 13 wins out of the 30 games they strutted their stuff in.
On the other side of the court, we're in for a show with Sacramento Kings. Domantas Sabonis has been a rebounding beast, averaging a whopping 14.6 rebounds per game this past month, not to mention scoring a healthy average of 21.3 points. His co-star De'Aaron Fox isn't trailing either, averaging 24.7 points last month. The Kings have been a bit shaky this season, with a 14-19 record, but resting just below the middle of their conference, there's room to grow.
The last time these giants clashed, the Kings walked away with the W, although previous encounters in earlier seasons have been a tad unpredictable. The Kings have been showing some decent form recently, when you brush off that loss to the Lakers. The 76ers, while they recently bounced back, sometimes do show a bit of a meltdown, like when they took that stark tumble against the Cavs.
If I say put your money on the Kings, you might think I've had a bit too much eggnog. But let me remind you, the house always wins and right now, it looks like the Kings might be holding the better hand.
