Denver Nuggets by 13All right, let's get right into this. Before us, we have the Denver Nuggets and the Utah Jazz battling it out once again. Taking a walk down memory lane, it's hard to forget the way the Nuggets have outperformed the Jazz in previous encounters - four victories in their last five meetings, to be exact. Now, I'm not saying history often repeats itself, but I also wouldn't bet against it.
The Nuggets, to nobody's surprise, hold the upper hand in terms of standings - sitting comfortably at position #7, whereas our friends from Utah, well... they're slumped down at #14.
Looking at the stats, it's pretty evident that the Nuggets have a handful of powerhouses. Nikola Jokic has been phenomenal with an average of 31.9 points,11.8 rebounds, and 8.2 assists per game in the last month. It's like he's playing 5D chess while everyone else is stuck playing checkers. Jamal Murray isn't far behind either contributing with an average of 22.2 points per game in the last month.
Not to discount the Jazz, they've got Lauri Markkanen who's been slamming in an average of 20.0 points per game in the last month and Keyonte George with a decent 16.5. But, let's be real - the Jazz isn't exactly having their finest season. I mean, the recent win-loss record says it all - 7 wins and a whopping 23 losses. Yikes!
