My Prediction
Los Angeles Lakers by 3Huddle up, we're talking Lakers vs Kings. The Lakers presumably had their Wheaties down in sunny L.A. with the likes of Anthony Davis, swimming through defenders and putting up 27.6 points a game this season. And let’s not forget LeBron James, averaging 22.6 points this season, who is still dunking like a college freshman while the rest of us yearn for a magic elixir to turn back the clock.
Then we head over to Sacramento. These Kings are not to be taken lightly. The Palace's top two court jesters, Domantas Sabonis and De'Aaron Fox, have been wreaking havoc, scoring 21.4 and 26.2 points respectively this season. Don't blink, or you might just miss them putting another two points on the board.
Lakers seem to hold the upper hand in recent face-offs, besting the Kings in the past two encounters which, between you and me, must sting like a bee. Looking at regular season records, Lakers are showing up with 15 wins, 2 more than the Kings. Last time I checked, having more wins never hurt anyone's chances.
Now recent outcomes could give the Kings an extra leg up, chalking up some impressive wins against formidable opponents. And the position in standings? Well, let's just say that it doesn't take a rocket scientist to know being #7 is better than being #12.
