Right out the bat, I must say, our matchup today looks heavily tipped in favor of the Boston Celtics. Now, don't get me wrong, Chicago Bulls aren't a joke, they've got some great talent lined up. Nikola Vucevic and Zach LaVine have been consistent contributors for the team with Vucevic averaging 21.2 points and 9.2 rebounds in his last month, and LaVine close behind him with 21.6 points per game.
But Boston Celtics, oh boy, they're sitting pretty at #2 in the Eastern Conference. And it's no surprise why. Jayson Tatum, the shining star of the team averaged a whopping 25.8 points and 10.6 rebounds last month. Not to overshadow Jaylen Brown, who's been giving a solid performance with 22.6 points a game in the same period.
When we look at history, seems like the Boston Celtics have been doing some spring cleaning on the Chicago floor. Remember the last 5 matchups between them? Yeah, Celtics took those home. Bulls might be looking for a revenge game, but it ain't looking so bright today.
Now, I've heard the phrase "the bulls are in a china shop", but to be fair, it feels more like the Bulls are caught between a rock and a hard place with their recent losses. They squeaked by Toronto by just one point in their last game, while our Celtic lads have managed comfortable victories in their last 5 encounters.
My two cents? Well, they'd be better used as part of your bet on the Celtics.
Albert’s Prediction: Boston Celtics by 17.
