DrawLooking at this intense faceoff between Talleres and Instituto Córdoba, it's hard not to crunch the numbers, chew on some stats and get lost in the delicious sauce of soccer showdown.
With Manuel Roffo defending Instituto Córdoba's net and Guido Herrera, with a more impressive 7.57 rating and 12 saves, warming the web for Talleres, the game certainly promises to be an invigorating one.
Instituto shrieks 'offense' with Gastón Lodico and Alex Luna, both fairly impressive goal scorers. The surprise hat-trick could come from Jeremías Lázaro if he's paying attention. For Talleres, though, it's mainly about Augusto Schott and Ulises Ortegoza putting balls into the net. Santiago Fernandez, meanwhile, shows us how to not get balls into the net.
Our crystal ball about past matchups shows a rather stale 1-1 encounter. Certainly neither side wanting to claim bragging rights, it appears.
Instituto Córdoba, however, are in the born again mood after beating San Martín de San Juan 1-0 and holding Sarmiento 1-1. Talleres, on the contrary, seem to love the thrill of a draw as their poor heart rate jumps from a win against Gimnasia y Esgrima to a loss against Vélez Sarsfield, and then back to a draw against River Plate.
Sticking my neck out, if not for my precious camaraderie with lady luck, I would say this game is heading for a draw.
