Estudiantes de La Plata by 1Oh, well, look who we got here, folks - a match between Estudiantes de La Plata ("the Students") and Rosario Central. Two teams that are doing their best to keep the bottom of the table warm. Well, at least they're consistent – consistent in their mediocrity, that is!
For Rosario Central, their trusted man behind the sticks is Jorge Broun. He's holding a 6.92 rating and has made 14 saves this season – not exactly stellar stuff, huh? For the Students, Matías Mansilla’s in goal. He's got a 6.78 rating and 12 saves. Not setting the world on fire, is he?
Well, they do say 'defense wins games' but in this case, it feels more like defense tries to prevent inevitable defeats.
Let's take a look at the players on each roster. For Rosario Central, we have Ignacio Malcorra and Mauricio Martinez topping the charts. Meanwhile, young striking prodigy Carlos Quintana's name is also worth mentioning for having found the net recently.
On the other side of the fence, Estudiantes de La Plata features Santiago Flores and Santiago Ascacíbar leading the pack. But boy-o-boy, we can’t forget about Alexis Manyoma – three goals and four shots on target – now that’s a silver lining in this somewhat tarnished bunch.
The regular season was a slightly less painful affair for Estudiantes de La Plata, who slightly outperformed Rosario Central with a record of 7-9-6 compared to the 6-7-9 record of the Rosarians.
Recent results don't hold much fireworks either. The Rosarians seem to have developed a unique knack for drawing games - if you call that a knack. The Students, on the other hand, are showing slightly more pizazz with few more goals and less defeats recently.

Well folks, but if I had to put my money on it would be the Students scraping by with a slim victory.
