Monterrey by 1Ah, bringing Monterrey and Pumas UNAM face to face, it's like watching two chefs fight over who makes the best taco, only with more commercial breaks.
Now, if we slice and dice the past matchups between these two highly intense squads, Monterrey seems to have the upper hand, claiming victories more often than our feline friends from UNAM. Yes, even cats have off days, despite what your pompous tabby might pretend.
As for their regular-season records, well, Monterrey outshines Pumas UNAM by a smidgen, less like a dazzling diamond and more like a neon light inside a dingy bar. However, we can't overlook the recent showdowns where Monterrey has been tasting more victory and less dirt than Pumas.
The present state of Pumas, on the other hand, reminds me of a student who waited till last night to prepare for an exam and is now hoping to ace it on guesses, nah, that doesn't quite cut it.
