Philadelphia Union by 2Oh dear, seems like it's yet another case of the third-place blues. This time we've got the Philadelphia Union matching wits with the Colorado Rapids, a meeting that I'm sure has everyone on the edge of their seats... or maybe just the edge of a nap.
Between the posts we have Zack Steffen for the Rapids with a decent rating of 7.85 and a solid wall-like 30 saves. On the other side, Philadelphia Union's Andre Blake can only boast a 7.23 rating with 21 saves. It's not rocket science to see who has the upper hand in the goalkeeper zone, sport fans.
Now, the Rapids may have a stellar keeper, but do they have the offensive teeth to match? Đorđe Mihailović and Rafael Navarro seem to be their best bet with solid ratings and some reasonable stats, but nothing that screams "rockstar". On the flip side, the Union brings some serious firepower with Tai Baribo's heavy hitting 5 goals and a 7.28 rating, and let's not forget Kai Wagner's worthy contribution.
Those keeping score at home: the past matchup resulted in a 2-1 win for Philly and recent form hasn't been too kind to Colorado either, with some unrewarding travels lately. I'll spare you the deadly dull details. The Union, however, seem to hold their own with a reasonable streak and sporting a nice list of goals from their top players. Bravo!
