Atlético Madrid by 1Lock in your seatbelts because it's Atlético Madrid going head to head against Real Sociedad in what promises to be a pulse-pounding La Liga match.
Between the posts, Atlético Madrid's Jan Oblak exudes confidence with a 7.16 rating and a whopping 13 saves. However, don't discount Real Sociedad's Álex Remiro who's been holding his own with an impressive 8 saves. A real rock, that one.
And let's not forget the footsoliders, the knights on the green turf - Atlético's Julián Álvarez. A real sniper if I've ever seen one with 4 goals from 9 shots on target. With him on the pitch, Real Sociedad better not order champagne just yet. Marcos Llorente possessing a slick pass accuracy of 89.5% is quite the maestro on the pitch too. Let's not omit Rodrigo de Paul. He might not have peppered the goal net with shots but he spills elegance with 86.2% accurate passes.
Meanwhile, Real Sociedad fans must pin their hopes on the likes of Jon Martin, a classy player with an impressive 87.1% accurate pass statistic. Mikel Oyarzabal with 3 goals and Takefusa Kubo with 81.0% accurate passes have a lot riding on their shoulders. They'll need to have their skates on for this one folks.
In their past skirmishes, Atlético Madrid has been able to get the measure of their rival Sociedad. Their regular season records tell a story too.
