Severstal Cherepovets by 2Alrighty, we've got ourselves an interesting match-up here with Avtomobilist Yekaterinburg facing off against Severstal Cherepovets.
The netminders for Avtomobilist, Evgeny Alikin and Vladimir Galkin, have been toasting their gloves by the fireplace this season, as they have not had to make any saves. Quite the perplexing stat, I must say! On the other hand, Severstal's Alexander Samoilov has at least been awake this season, pulling off 25 saves, yet his partner in crime, Konstantin Shostak, seems to have joined the Avtomobilist goalies in their winter hibernation with zero saves recorded.
On the front lines, Avtomobilist is bolstered by Stephane Da Costa, whose season performance of 7 goals and 25 assists has been nothing short of impressive. Brooks Macek, with 12 goals, and Anatoli Golyshev, with 8, also tend to put their names on the scoreboard pretty frequently.
