Goalkeeping seems to be a ghost town on both sides, with Andrei Shutov and Nikita Boyarkin for Barys Astana, and Dmitri Gamzin along with Ivan Prosvetov for CSKA Moscow, all boasting an impressive 0 save season. One wonders if they are doing interpretive dance on the ice instead of protecting the net.
On the players side, Barys Astana has the likes of Kirill Savitsky and Batyrlan Muratov who recently, have been setting the ice on fire. Don’t forget Nikita Setdikov, always that wild card. Over in Moscow, they have quite the arsenal with Vladislav Kamenev and Denis Gurianov as true stalwarts this season. Maxim Sorkin has been creating storm this season as well, netting impressive goals.
