My Prediction
Gimcheon Sangmu FC by 1Ah, the smell of freshly cut grass and the synchronized buzz of vuvuzelas. Yes, indeed, we are discussing the titanic struggle to come between Gimcheon Sangmu FC and Pohang Steelers. Now, these two have had their fair share of history, haven't they? Just like my mother-in-law and chocolate cake, Gimcheon Sangmu FC seems to have a decided edge in their recent run-ins.
And while the Steelers aren't exactly having a trainwreck of a season (they're sitting at a respectable 8-4-5), Gimcheon Sangmu FC is hanging in there like a hair in a biscuit with a 7-4-6 record. But honestly, who even counts draws? I mean, seriously, isn't that akin to kissing your cousin? But I digress...
The Steelers have done well recently, stringing together a series of victories like a chain of sweet little daisies, but don't let that fool you. Gimcheon Sangmu FC is about as predictable as my wardrobe choices, but they've managed to score against the Steelers one more time each in three out of their last five encounters. That's practically a declaration of dominance, isn't it?
Look at the grunt work Gimcheon Sangmu FC has been putting in, though, against some of the big shots in the league. They held their own against Ulsan HD and throttled Gangwon FC like they owed them money.
So, after giving this the amount of thought it deserves, which is only slightly more than deciding on the flavor of my morning bagel, I can make a prediction.
