My Prediction
Bayern Munich by 8Alright, folks. Grab your bratwursts and a pint because we are about to dive headfirst into this EuroLeague nail-biter between Bayern Munich and Alba Berlin.
Now, save for a sudden twist of fate or a rogue black hole swallowing the court, it's likely that our friends from Bayern Munich are seeing stars. And by stars, I mean top players like Devin Booker and Carsen Edwards. Booker, consistently scoring around 15.7 PPG this season and Edwards, impressing everyone last month with 12.6 PPG, are no strangers to weaving some basketball magic. Don't discount Shabazz Napier and Andreas Obst either, both have been stirring up their own storm on the court.
However, let's not dismiss Alba Berlin so hastily. Do they have the odds on their side? Ehh, not so much. But talk about a team that knows how to hustle. We've got Yanni Wetzell and Matt Thomas powering through with close to 10 PPG each. And just for a dash of excitement, Martin Hermannsson is out here averaging more than 6 assists per game last month, worthy of a golf clap at a minimum.
When we glance into the rearview mirror, Bayern Munich has a habit of triumphing over Alba Berlin. It's almost like they've got their number or something. Plus, matter of factly, Bayern has 12 victories under their belt this season as opposed to Alba's 3. That’s a bit like comparing the speed of a Porsche 911 to a ride-on lawn mower.
Recently, Bayern might have hit a bit of a rough patch but they’ve still had an echo of victory reverberating around them. Alba Berlin, on the other hand, appears to be trying their hand at a losing streak, and, boy, are they nailing it!
To sum up the standings, Bayern Munich is at the respectable #9 spot, while Alba Berlin is... also there. Well, if you scroll down far enough to #18, that is.
So, if I were a betting man, which, given the lack of horses and a racetrack, I am not.
