KK Crvena zvezda by 2So, we're looking at a EuroLeague matchup featuring the excellent Monaco Basket setting its sights on KK Crvena zvezda. No need to adjust your sets, folks, we're not about to watch a soap opera.
When we consider Monaco Basket, you can't help but give a hat tip to the likes of Mike James and Matthew Strazel. You might even think they're the poster boys for consistency. Lo and behold, James seems to have this magical ability to pull up 18 points per game out of the ether, while Strazel tickles the net with nearly 13.
On the Serbian side, the lads in red and white aren't without their own aces, with Joel Bolomboy and Codi Miller-McIntyre showing some serious promise. Bolomboy, in particular, tends to collect rebounds like I collect sarcastic comments, averaging around 8. And one cannot help but marvel at Miller-McIntyre who scores in double figures every game lately.
In their previous meetings, Crvena Zvezda has managed to hold its ground against Monaco Basket, winning two out of three matchups. But they've been a little unpredictable this season, sitting 7th in the Euroleague, while the Monaco team boast the 3rd spot and a better record too.
Both teams have been skipping down the court lately, and it's tough to separate them based on recent form. Always bet against predictability, I always say. This whole thing could turn out to be as predictable as a coin flip. But as he who must inform, I can't see Crvena Zvezda failing to put on a show on their home turf, especially with the payout at a tempting $1.85.
