Paris by 7Ah, Maccabi Tel Aviv against Paris. An interesting matchup, not just for the sheer love of the game, but also for our fans looking to make educated guesses.
Maccabi Tel Aviv's recent form has been a bit mediocre, to say the least. No wonder they're sitting at 17th in the Euroleague. Still, you've got to acknowledge the individual brilliance of players like Rokas Jokubaitis, tossing up an impressive 14.8 points per game last month, and Roman Sorkin who has been quite a spectacle with his 17.2 average points in the same period.
But the real story here is Paris. Number 5 in the Euroleague with a majestic record of 12-8, you got to give the fanfare to them. TJ Shorts has been phenomenal for Paris, scoring 17 points on average in the last month, and let's not forget the contribution from Maodo Lo and Nadir Hifi who've been chipping in with over 15 points per game each.
Plus, let's not forget the history books – with Paris has already shown its dominance in the past face off against Maccabi Tel Aviv just last December.
So even with Maccabi Tel Aviv's Jokubaitis's and Sorkin's shooting prowess, I really don't see Paris losing this one. The only question is by how much.
