Well, color me intrigued! We have an interesting head-to-head here, folks, with Barcelona visiting Virtus Bologna in what promises to be a EuroLeague spectacle.
Barcelona has been sensational lately, clearly seen in their dominance in recent matchups, with the likes of Jabari Parker and Kevin Punter leading the charge. Parker has been averaging 15.3 points per game while Punter isn't far behind with 17.3 allowing them to hang a portrait of victory on their wall nine times this season.
Virtus Bologna, sadly, is looking like a struggling artist, only three wins this season and their performance equivalent to a watch running slow - disappointing. William Clyburn and Tornike Shengelia are the bright spots in this otherwise gloomy picture, Clyburn been painting beautiful numbers on the court harking back to his glory days, as observed with his 17.8 points average last month.
The last time these two tangoed, Bologna did bring Santa early for Barcelona, gifting them their win, but don't take my word as gospel on this one. Alas, basketball, much like life, is unpredictable, just when you think you've figured all out, it scores a three-pointer on you.
Based on their recent form, Barcelona might just pack this game up and take it home, and Virtus Bologna might have to set their normal-sized dinner table for another loss.
Albert’s Prediction: Barcelona by 4
