Paris by 3Looking at this EuroLeague match-up, we've got a veritable feast of basketball prowess poised to clash in grand style. Now, I wouldn't want to bore you with pointless statistics, but Paris seems to be the favored team here, and guess what? I can see why. They've got TJ Shorts leading the charge with a stellar 22.4 points per game in the last month alone. Moreover, Maodo Lo has chipped in with over 13 points per game himself. They seem to be in quite the little groove.
However, anyone counting out Fenerbahçe might want to reconsider. Nigel Hayes has been on fire, averaging 17.3 points with 5.2 rebounds per game. Not too shabby, I must say. And Wade Baldwin, he's been turning in decent numbers with over 11 points per game last month.
Still, Paris does hold a slight edge in regular season record at 11-5, while Fenerbahçe is slightly lagging at 10-6. Remarkable indeed, but it tells only half the story. Paris does sit pretty at #2 in the EuroLeague, while Fenerbahçe holds the 6th spot.
Recent results might give Fenerbahçe’s fans a bit of a headache. Hitting a few roadblocks, they’ve seen some rocky performances, whereas Paris seems to be weathering the storm, even if they've hit a minor bump or two themselves.
If I were a betting man, and let’s be honest here, I’d be a rich one, I'd say Paris just edges out Fenerbahçe, but not by a long shot!
