Then there's Elie Okobo, chipping in with an average of 13 points. Not quite stealing the spotlight, but not to be sneezed at either. Jordan Loyd and Alpha Diallo are keeping things steady, both putting up nearly 10 points a piece. It's the kind of consistency that makes you sleep well at night, or gives you heartburn, depending on who you're rooting for.
Now, let's hop over to Saski Baskonia. Say hello to Chima Moneke, who's been shooting out the lights with an average of 14.2 points and nearly 6 rebounds this season. Trent Forrest and Markus Howard are also making their presence felt, each averaging over 10 points per game. They're the strawberry on the top of the Baskonia pie, sweetening the deal.
Historically, Monaco has come out on top in past matchups. But don't put your money on the ponies based on just that. It's tight around the waist like my granny's corset, with Monaco holding a record of 5-4 and Baskonia just behind at 4-5. The recent results show Monaco coming in hot, Saski Baskonia, not so much.
