PSV Eindhoven by 4Call me crazy, but I sense a rerun of what we witnessed last season on Feb 11, folks. PSV Eindhoven, after an extraordinary regular season with 11 wins and only 1 loss, looks hard-bodied and sharp as a razor against FC Groningen, who have stumbled through the season with 3 wins, 3 draws, and 6 losses. Soak that in for a moment.
FC Groningen's goalkeepers, Hidde Jurjus and Etienne Vaessen, have made a fair few saves this season, keeping an average rating of 6.45. However, the cooler customer guarding the net for PSV Eindhoven is Walter Benítez, with a 7.3 rating and a whopping 10 saves to his name.
On the pitch, FC Groningen have been leaning on the likes of Johan Hove and Wouter Prins, both with a 7.03 rating and a decent pass accuracy. Romano Postema can't be forgotten either, as he’s been the team's lone goal scorer.
