My Prediction
Bristol Bears by 3Well butter my biscuits and call it a breakfast! Here we have a barn burner on our hands, folks. The Leicester Tigers are about to go claw to claw with the Bristol Bears, and I'll be harder to separate than a pickled onion from a jam jar.
The Tigers and Bears have had their share of scuffles in the past. Last they met in April '24, the Bears took the W, but not without a fight. Leicester came back with a roaring 46 against Bristol's 24 in Mar '23. But let's not forget that Christmas cracker in '22 when the game ended in a draw.
Now, if we look at the stairway to the stars (that's what I call the standings for those of you new here), the Bears are rampaging at the number 2 position while the Tigers trail them at number 3. Seems like a close shave but remember, in sports, 'almost' means diddly squat. If we're talking regular season records, both teams have 5 wins against their names with 2 losses a piece, tighter than a miser's purse, I tell you.
Recently, our furry friends from Bristol have been showing some real showstopper moves - winning 4 out of their last 5 games. Meanwhile, the Tigers seem to have gotten their paws stuck in a jam jar- they've lost a game out of their last 5. If I can say one thing about the Tigers, consistency isn't their middle name.
In my personal, never-wrong, and hieroglyphically proven method of prediction I'd say it's gonna be the Bears who’ll scare the dish for the spoons. Based on the fact that white smoke is rising from all the bar-b-que pits in Bristol, I'm taking Bristol Bears by 3 to bring home the bacon.
