My Prediction
Beijing Guoan by 2Ah, Chinese Super League, never a dull moment. This time we have Beijing Guoan versus Qingdao West Coast on the menu.
Qingdao has their goalkeeper Hao Li on the frontline with a 7.80 rating and a commendable 10 saves. I bet he is practicing his 'catch the canary' technique as we speak. Meanwhile, I’m curious about who told Beijing Guoan’s goalkeeper Sen Hou a lower rating is a new trend, with his 6.80 rating and a rather modest 3 saves.
Turning our attention to the top players, for Qingdao we have the daunting Riccieli and Davidson leading the team, and don’t get me started about Aziz, a man with such focus he managed to score a goal. On the other side, we see Liangming Lin representing Beijing's finest with a goal under his belt, and then there's Goncalo Rodrigues, who could probably pass a football through a keyhole with his 90.2% accuracy.
Looking back at the history between these two teams, it’s clear Beijing Guoan has some notches on their belt – taking a handsome win in their April 2024 match while graciously sharing the points with Qingdao in their August rendezvous of the same year.
For Qingdao, their recent results look more like a string of binary codes with a notable number of draws. The whole Qingdao team must be humming 'Take the long way home' by Supertramp. Beijing, on the other hand, seems to be viciously marking crosses on the calendar following a series of victories with only one draw adorning their recent results.
