I hope everybody's holding onto their hats and excitement levels because we're about to dive into this face-off between Qingdao West Coast and Shanghai Port. Now, I'd say you'd be better off watching a snail race, but I guess some of you folks get a kick out of this sort of thing.
Fueling the Shanghai Port, we have goalkeeper Junling Yan, doing a solid job with a 6.95 rating and two saves to his credit. In the other box, Qingdao West Coast is holding on to their dear life with Hao Li and his 6.90 rating and 3 saves. These numbers won’t keep anybody awake at night but hey, what can you do?
Shanghai Port parades an army of players with Gustavo at the helm. His shiny 8.60 rating and 2 goals are about as attractive as a balloon at a children's party. You have Xin Xu with zero goals but a 90.3% accurate pass rating, who has yet to remember he's allowed to shoot. And then there's Matheus Jussa doing his bit with a 7.40 rating, one goal, and an equally impressive 90.3% pass accuracy, making him a standout in a league that's normally as exciting as watching paint dry.
Over in Qingdao West Coast, we have Indio trying to get the party started with a 7.90 rating and two goals which is, I suppose, something to brag about in this league. Davidson with his 7.70 rating is busy making clouds in the sky with his shots, missing the goal, and Honglüe Zhao just sits there looking pretty with a 76.3% pass accuracy.
Past games show Shanghai Port won the last two matchups. Someone must’ve been giving Qingdao West Coast directions in a language they don’t speak.
The season seems to favor Shanghai Port as well with a 2-0-0 record, compared to Qingdao's slightly more mediocre 1-1-0. The recent games suggest a Shanghai party, with various victories, and Qingdao dragging their tail along with some disappointing outcomes.
So, here's the dreadful prediction. I would suggest making sandwiches, but if you have nothing better to do, here goes:
