Juventus by 1So, peeps, here's what the tea leaves are saying about the upcoming Champions League matchup between Club Brugge KV and Juventus.
Let's check their arsenal. Juventus is bringing goalkeepers Mattia Perin and Michele Di Gregorio to the field. Their counterpart, for Club Brugge KV, is Simon Mignolet. I've been told to mention these Keeper's record, so there you go.
Next up are the heavy lifters. Starting with Juventus, their front runner is the ridiculously talented Dušan Vlahović, who I must say had an impressive 7.58 rating and some cool 4 goals under his belt. Manuel Locatelli seems to have developed an allergic reaction to shooting goals but is incredibly decent at passing. Francisco Conceição with a healthy 7.38 rating and 1 goal is a player worth keeping an eye on too. Also, Nicolás González and Kenan Yildiz might just surprise us during the match.
Now, I'd be remiss if I didn't mention Juventus' loss of Arkadiusz Milik due to injury. I mean, seriously, pore guy can't even stand a chance.
So, let's see what Club Brugge KV has to offer. Look out for Christos Tzolis and Hans Vanaken. They're pretty sharp players with decent goals to their name. Then there's Maxim De Cuyper whose goal counter still reads zero but can pass that ball like it's nobody's business.
When we peek into the history between the lines, Juventus holds a 3-2-1 record while Club Brugge KV is sitting at 3-1-2. It's a pretty tight competition, to be frank.
Fresh off from their recent games, Juventus seems to be bouncing back and forth between wins and draws while Club Brugge KV seems to be running a winning streak of sorts.
So here's my prediction. Taking into account Juventus' goalkeeping record, quality of their top players, injuries, tournament records and recent results, the match seems to me to be tilting in favor of Juventus. But remember, you didn't hear that from me.
