My Prediction
VfB Stuttgart by 2So, it seems we've got ourselves an interesting match-up here, folks. Not as titillating as a bag of potato chips in a vending machine but hey, it’s what we got!
On one side, we have VfB Stuttgart, favored to cause some ruckus in the betting circles, if you know what I mean. They’ve got Alexander Nübel in goal, always ready with those swift hands, 10 saves under his belt from the tournament to prove it.
Stuttgart's top dogs include Angelo Stiller with his consistent pass accuracy of 88.2%, and Enzo Millot, who’s been pretty good at creating opportunities, evidenced by his 6 shots on goal and 1 to actually make the net dance.
And opposite them, we have FK Crvena zvezda. You'd be excused for not expecting pulled rabbits from this hat as they sport a rather underwhelming tournament record of zero wins, zero draws, and four losses. Not exactly a resume you'd want to put on your application for ‘team that scares opponents’.
Their men between the sticks - Omri Glazer and Marko Ilić have been decent, but they would be lying if they say they couldn’t use a few more saves.
Their shiny pennies include Milson (that's right, just Milson, like Madonna), whose got 2 goals from just 2 shots on goal which is, let's say, very lucky? Then we have Cherif Ndiaye, who's managed to eke out a goal for himself as well.
Taking a peek at the recent matches, Stuttgart shows mixed results but does have a shiny win against Juventus, which probably gave them enough dopamine rush to last three months. Meanwhile, FK Crvena zvezda needs a compass because they've been lost - their recent results make me want to adopt a puppy.
So anyway, drumroll, please... Here's my prediction:
