Whew, this is going to be one heck of a match, folks. On one hand, we've got the mighty Bayern Munich led by the phenomenal Harry Kane, who apparently has a real fondness for goal nets, having sent the ball into them 5 times already. Young gun Jamal Musiala isn't too shabby either, with 5 shots on goal and an accuracy rate to be proud of. But, the absence of Pavlovic might sting a bit, but hey, you play with the cards you're dealt, right?
Paris Saint-Germain, despite being the underdogs, are not without their sparks of genius. Achraf Hakimi is in top form with an impressive accurate pass percentage, even managing to sneak in a goal. Then there's Ousmane Dembélé, who despite still warming the benches of the goal scorers club, is quite a menace on field with his accurate passes. Not to forget, they have two solid goalkeepers in Safonov and Donnarumma. But injury woes flare up for them as well, with Mayulu and Kimpembe being notably absent.
Past matchups don't bode well for Paris Saint-Germain, given that they've faced back to back losses against Bayern Munich, and their tournament record isn't exactly gleaming either. More recently their performance has been lackluster with more losses than wins, but, when you've got players like Hakimi and Dembélé, who knows what can happen?
However, Bayern Munich's Harry Kane seems to have taken the "go big or go home" adage a bit too seriously and that's reflected in Munich's current standing. Even though their recent games haven't exactly been a bouquet of roses, they seem to have a knack of pulling through when it counts the most.
So, while each team has their mountain to climb, based on the stats, Bayern Munich appears to have a slightly more manageable gradient.
