Liaoning Flying Leopards by 2Ah, dear friends, what a delightful semi-final matchup we have here between the Liaoning Flying Leopards and the Zhejiang Guangsha Lions, a basketball tussle that promises to be as riveting as a crossword puzzle on a rainy day.
Getting into the spirit (and numbers) of things, we have Barry Brown of the Lions, scoring an average of 29.7 points per game in the playoffs, closely followed by Dez Wells of the Leopards, who's been dropping an impressive 23 points per match, and isn't this a stat duet we'd love to put on repeat. Not to be overlooked of course is Jiwei Zhao of the Leopards, who's been serving up an enviable 19 points per game. Eagerly meanwhile, Jinqiu Hu of the Lions has been crashing the boards with 7.3 rebounds per game.
Taking a scenic stroll down memory lane, the past matchups between these two teams have been more in favor of the Lions, who triumphed in the last encounter with a 108-93 win. Notably, Zhejiang Guangsha Lions, sitting pretty at the top of the CBA standings this season, has waved victory three out of the last five times these teams faced off - now wouldn't you put a wager on that?
When it comes to recent results, the Leopards have been on a winning streak, outpacing the Xinjiang Flying Tigers 3-0 in the previous playoff series. The Lions, however, had to scratch and claw their way to the semi-finals, squeezing out a 3-2 win against the Qingdao Eagles. Nothing like pressure to produce diamonds, right, folks?
With all said and done, my prediction, dear listeners, will indeed shock you, because I'm placing my bets on the underdogs instead.
