Jilin Northeast Tigers by 8
With magnificent fanfare, let's have a look at the upcoming basketball showdown between the Jiangsu Dragons and the Jilin Northeast Tigers. I must say, our egg roll of stats is looking super yum today.
Without any doubt, the Jiangsu Dragons' stellar players Frank Jackson and Archie Goodwin have been lighting up the court like New Year's fireworks. Frank has been averaging 38 points per game while Archie isn't far behind clocking 28.7 points. However, let's not forget that the other side of the court isn't exactly empty of talent.
Jilin Northeast Tigers' dynamic duo Dominique Jones and Tomas Kyzlink are making Mama Tiger proud. Dominique poured out 34.5 points per game on average last month and Tomas, not to be outdone, has been keeping up with a robust 23.2. Promising stuff, I must say.
Now, looking longingly at past rendezvous between these two teams, the air seems slightly tinted with the hue of the Northeast Tigers. Those Tigers have had a pretty strong bite in recent matchups, posting two wins to the Dragons' one. Could be something to do with the fortune cookies.
As for season records and recent results, well, both teams have had their share of wins and losses, it's like juggling with fried dumplings. The Dragons have 2 wins and 17 losses and the Tigers aren't exactly roaring with a record of 8 and 11. Things in the recent past haven't been the brightest for both the teams but there's always promise in a new game. Remember folks, nothing ventured, nothing dim summed.
The stand position also does have a part to play in our little diorama here. The Tigers are lurking around in the middle at #12, while the dragons are lagging behind noticeably at #19.
