Zhejiang Golden Bulls by 7
Ahh, the thrill of the hardwood strikes again as the Beijing Royal Fighters face off against the Zhejiang Golden Bulls. Clearly, the bookies are leaning towards the Golden Bulls, and who can blame them? They've been on a bit of a tear recently.
Now, on the Beijing side, there's no doubt about it - they've got some diamonds in the rough, although if there's a rough they're stuck in between those numbers eh? That Grant "Mr. Infinity" Riller surely doesn't mess around, netting an average of 25.3 points per game in the last month. Jared Sullinger is another behemoth, going double-double with 13.7 points and 11.3 rebounds per game.
However, Zhejiang isn't exactly short of firepower either. Gabe York is lighting up scoreboards almost like he's playing on a fiery cosmic court, boasting a spectacular 40 points per game average last month. Then you’ve got the mighty Liu Zheyi and Damian Jones, plowing through defenses like they’re playing against high schoolers, notching 19.0 and 21.0 points respectively.
Looking at the past, the Golden Bulls have managed to best the Royal Fighters twice. The numbers are interesting: 99-93 and 99-82. Interesting, isn't it? History does love to repeat itself.
In terms of regular season records, it's a fairly close run thing with the Bulls at 13-6 just edging out the Fighters at 11-7. The recent performance of both teams esteem the Bulls higher too; they've had a series of victorious matchups, unlike the inconsistent ride the Fighters have been on.
And there's the position in the standings, dear fellows: #6 for the Golden Bulls, #10 for the Royal Fighters. You see where I'm going, don't you?
Albert's Prediction: Zhejiang Golden Bulls by 7.
