Sport Recife by 1Let me put it to you bluntly, this, ladies and gentlemen, is a battle of the basement dwellers of the Brasileiro Série A. My grandmother could likely put together a more winning lineup and she hasn't watched a game since Pelé was in diapers.
On one corner, we have Juventude, who've put together a 'powerful' 2-2-7 regular season record. In their past matchups, they did manage to sneak in a win against Sport Recife, so let's give 'em a gold star for that. But don't be swayed, their recent performances have all the excitement of a cold cup of coffee. Just take a look, zero goals against Grêmio, another dry run against Red Bull Bragantino, and a deplorable 5-0 humiliation at the hands of Fortaleza.
In the other corner, we've got Sport Recife who've apparently been just as successful as a sunbathing vampire with a scorecard of 0-3-8. Their recent scorelines read like a lullaby that could put a caffeinated toddler into a deep slumber. A 1-0 loss to Mirassol, 1 all draw with Internacional, but here's my personal favorite - a 4-0 thrashing from Cruzeiro.
In this clash of titans (of terrible football), our prediction machine points towards Sport Recife. Given their recent poor form against everyone else, their investments in defibrillators could finally pay off.
