Don't bolt your doors just yet folks, we've got another AFL clash coming our way between the Geelong Cats and the Melbourne Demons.
In the corner to my right, we've got the Demons. Melbournites might need to look away for this part, turning a blind eye to their team's stumble out of the gate this season with a 0-3 record. They've put up lackluster numbers in recent games and dropped to the bottom two in the standings. Sorry folks, but the prospects look grim with the Demons having lost their last encounter with the Cats. On the bright side, they might just rally better than the catered food at the commentators' booth.
In the other corner, smugly prancing in, are the Geelong Cats. They've not been pulling any punches season, sporting a 1-2 record. If the Demons thought their recent run was bad, the Cats are bouncing back from a couple of close games against Brisbane and St Kilda. They're gaining momentum, and that's a juggernaut the Demons will struggle to stop.
Given all these, it seems like the Demons are in for a purr-plexing day against the Cats. If the Demons' recent performance is anything to go by, they'll need more than a Hail Mary to snatch victory. My crystal ball's a tad foggy, but I dare say we're in for another cat-astrophic match for the Demons. Close your eyes and hold on to your bets, this one's a doozy.
