Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks by 2Ladies and gentlemen, if this isn't a David vs Goliath battle, I don't know what is. We're talking about Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks swooping in to tackle the Saitama Seibu Lions at their home turf. Time for us to buckle down and bite into the juicy details of this impending clash.
With a quick glance at the past, the Hawks have flown high against the Lions most of the time. They've pocketed 3 out of 5 games, even with a solid shut out last May. Of course, our feisty Lions managed to claw their way to a victory on occasion too, but it does beg the question, do the Hawks have their number?
Now, the Hawks ain't just strutting around with blue feathers for nothing, they boast an impressive 48-34 season record. Ah, who can forget that smashing 10-2 victory over the Chiba Lotte Marines just a few days back.
