Sun Devils Scorches Cyclones in Fiery 45-19 Big 12 Championship VictoryIn the soaring temperatures of the Big 12 Championship, the Arizona State Sun Devils (#15) razed the Iowa State Cyclones (#16) to the ground with a striking 45-19 victory. Call it redemption for last week’s poor performance or merely a ravenous appetite for victory; this time, the Sun Devils weren't letting that one-point spread constrain them!
Team performance was nothing short of exceptional. Notably, Cameron Skattebo tamed the Cyclones with 170 brutal rushing yards alongside Xavier Guillory, both amassing two touchdowns each like they were collecting souvenirs. Quarterback Sam Leavitt led his troupe to triumph, contributing a neat trio of passing touchdowns with a suave 219-yard performance, throwing with an average of 12.9 yards per attempt. Defense was no slouch either, with celebrated interceptions by Keith Abney and forced fumbles by Javan Robinson and Clayton Smith.
For Iowa, even a pair of picture-perfect touchdown contributions by Carson Hansen and Jaylin Noel, coupled with Kyle Konrardy's trusty boot couldn't make a ripple in the Sun Devil-brewed storm. Quarterback Rocco Becht churned out a respectable 214 yards, albeit, accompanied by an unfortunate interception.
In summary, an impressive total yardage of 464 and red zone efficiency kept the Sun Devils steps ahead, whilst Cyclones were continually swept up by their own blunderous turnovers. The Arizona State Sun Devils were, in every sense of the word, on “fire”.

Starting with the Cyclones, their quarterback Rocco Becht has done some piping hot numbers in the last month, with 9 TDs and just 3 interceptions. Top receivers Jayden Higgins and Jaylin Noel have been hauling in catches like it's Black Friday. Still, we can't neglect their defense, with Beau Freyler and Joey Petersen kicking up dust.
Over to the Sun Devils now, we got Sam Leavitt under center, who, let's be honest, has been slicing defenses like a hot knife through butter, with 12 TDs to 1 interception. Add to that, their offensive arsenal with Running Back Cameron Skattebo and Jordyn Tyson have been no joke.
